As a technology, NLP has a solid track record of instigating fast change. It can help you as therapeutic tool. The basic premise of NLP is that the words we use, our eye pattern movements and body language, reflect an inner, subconscious perception of our problems.

NLP is an attitude

Characterised by a sense of curiosity, experimentation and adventure. NLP is the practical and pragmatic study of what produces all forms of human performance. It studies the ingredients of excellent performance, and seeks to provide ways of transferring the skills of excellence to others. The essence of NLP is expressed in the question “How is it possible to be outstanding?”

And a methodology

Based on the presupposition that all behaviour has a structure which can be modelled, learned, taught, and changed (re -programmed). NLP studies the structure of how humans think and experience the world. Obviously, the structure of something so subjective does not lend itself to precise, statistical formulae but instead leads to models of how these things work.

That leaves behind a trail of techniques

This ‘trail of techniques’ (created through modelling) is what is commonly known as NLP. They enable practitioners to organise information and perceptions in ways that allow them to achieve outstanding results. From these models, techniques for quickly and effectively changing thoughts, behaviours and beliefs that limit a person have been developed.

NLP believes that most of our behaviour is learnt from our experiences and the people around us as we grow up, and this programs our brain to perceive things and react to the world in a certain way.

As a certified NLP Practitioner, I can use my skills to apply the methodology to bring about changes to the way that you feel, think, do and therefore ultimately in what you want to achieve so what’s stopping you from

"Learning about NLP is useful, but to benefit the most you need to experience it for yourself. Knowing that an orange is good to eat is also useful. But holding a bright orange in your hands, seeing it spray as you peel away the skin, smelling its intense fragrance, popping it into your mouth and biting down as its juicy sweetness explodes in your mouth — that is entirely different!
